LogiLab

LogiLab is an enterprise scale application which is used by customers from different verticals for solving multiple problems. It is used as an interfacing their analytical instruments with any LIMS, as a electronic lab notebook solution (ELN) in a typical QA/QC environment, as a 21 CFR Part 11 compliance solution for enabling legacy and non-pc based instruments and as a scientific data management solution (SDMS) for capturing and archiving raw-data and meta data in a central server.

Interface Instruments with LIMS

LogiLab was built for interfacing instruments with any LIMS in your lab. Traditionally instrument interfacing is either hardcoded by the LIMS vendors and some use the LIMS vendors instrument integration solution with lot of limitations. LogiLab was desgined to address the need "I want to interface any instrument to any LIMS". With our several years of instrument software development experience we have come out with a completely user configurable parsing engine and easy to learn system. You may believe it or not it takes 15mins to interface an instrument if you have established communication with any instrument. Integration with LIMS is normally done by directly connecting to LIMS database or the LIMS is allowed to read/write in our database, also some integrations have been done using the LIMS API provided by the vendor.

Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) for QA/QC

Tradionally LIMS solutions have not addressed this space or the need. Laboratories that do analysis of samples for various tests do have specific worksheet or test data sheet for capturing data relevant to a specific test. Test sheets (notebooks) are treated as a controlled copy in the pharmaceutical industry, whereas the non regulated industry us test sheets for arriving at the final results for a specific test. LogiLab's sheet design capabilities similar to Excel(r) come handy fordesigning test data sheets. Existing excel sheets could also be imported and used as templates. LogiLab sheet formula editor gives more or less similar calculation capabilities like excel. Formula used within sheets are secure and is fully protected while capturing data within these sheets.

21 CFR Part 11 Compliance

LogiLab was purpose built to comply with 21 CFR Part 11 requirements. LogiLab has its own security module, groups, roles, team, rights management. Also LogiLab security can be linked with windows domain users (ADS). These users can be added to LogiLab and can be allocated roles and rights. The system protects electronic records, records every event that creates, edits,delete data and other user actions that need to be recorded in an audit trail.

Scientific Data Management Solution (SDMS)

LogiLab SDMS module has a sophisticated scheduler which can pull data files from any instrument software created files and other files. SDMS's core feature is to capture, index and archive raw and meta data to a central server. Also the system indexes the searcheable text and files can be easily acccessed through unique identifiers like sample indentification, batch number etc. LogiLab's SDMS module gives the whole solution a complete rounded feeling and it brings in a whole of lot capabilities that cover the industry needs for a regulated environment.
